East Geauga Kiwanis Club was founded in June 1958 and met at the Grandview Inn. The meeting place then became the basement of one of the member's homes, and later the basement of the Middlefield Historical Society building. From there, the club moved to the Middlefield Senior Center where they currently meet.

The Kiwanis Club of West Geauga meets every Tuesday evening at 7:00 PM at Murphy's Restaurant in Chesterland. For information on the club activities, call Tony Fuger at (440) 729-1571.

Annual Christmas Tree Sale commencing in December at Chester Shopping Center off Rt. 306.
The anniversary Pancake Breakfast on the first four Sundays in March at the West Geauga High School Cafeteria, 8:00 to 2:00. Adults $5.00 all you can eat. Children $3.00.
Annual 4th of July parade starting at 11:00 AM from St. Anselm's Church parking lot finishing at the High School.
