1995 - Most Dangerous Geauga Roadways

State Route 306, Bainbridge Township. There were 114 total accidents, 1.8% alcohol related

State Route 306, Chester Township. There were 90 accidents and one fatality, 5.6% were alcohol related.

State Route 322, Chester Township. There were 89 accidents, 1.1% were alcohol related.

State Route 87, Middlefield. There were 58 accidents, 5.2% were alcohol related.

State Route 422, Troy Township. There were 50 accidents and three fatalities, 2.0% were alcohol related.

In 1986 there were a total of 2,361 accidents in Geauga County and 20 fatalities. In 1994, 2,369 accidents were reported and 9 fatalities. In 1995 that figure jumped to 2,569 accidents and 15 fatalities. The 1995 figures represented a 8.4% increase over 1994.
