Active Community Organizations

Cardinal Community Scholars Fund
This organization provides a $600 scholarship award to all eligible Cardinal graduates entering college. The organization counts on large fund raisers. This group gives our graduates about $18,000 per year!

Cardinal Athletic Boosters, Incorporated
The Athletic Boosters provide support for middle school and high school athletic activities. Improvements to facilities also benefit community youth programs for all ages. Primary fund-raisers include a 200 Club annual raffle and a car raffle.

Cardinal Music Boosters
The Music Boosters operate the concession stand during football games. With this fund-raiser and others they are able to help support the outstanding music programs at the middle school and high school.

Jordak Parent/Teacher Organization
Parkman Parent/Teacher Organization
Huntsburg Parent/Teacher Club
The Parent/Teacher groups are service organizations aimed at providing student programs and classroom materials or equipment not supported by tax funds. The groups plan activities which raise funds and serves to develop a genuine sense of community. Each organization raises thousands of dollars annually.

Committee to study school improvements and additions to facilities

As outlined in the school district strategic plan, a committee of community members is forming to make recommendations to the Board of Education regarding school improvements and additions to facilities. A complete plan and recommendations to the Board should be completed by the end of the school year.

Anyone interested in joining this committee call Superintendent Clinton Keener.

Meetings of the committee will be posted and open to the public
