Purpose: Student service organization created to serve and offer support to individuals with disabilities and to promote disability awareness.
Students host "Different Disabilities Week" in the spring. Students who are not part of the club are asked to assume a disability for the day, which can include being sight impaired, deafness or wheel chair bound. Other projects are recording books on tape, assisting in classes, reading, teaching, tutoring, and helping to solve problems for students or teachers who need assistance.
Regular meetings are held as well as informal parties and students are currently planning a "Welcome to High School" summer picnic for students with disabilities.

This program was created by the PTO to help families have a more enjoyable holiday season. Members are posting requests on the PTO board in the hallway. If you pick out an item to buy for a special child, please write your name on the list by the number to avoid duplicate gifts. Place the gifts in the basket in the hallway under the PTO board.
