The Department on Aging provides planning, coordinating services, and resources for seniors in several areas which include transportation, meals, adult day care, information and referral, health assessments and health programs, socialization and education, telephone reassurance and visiting, newsletters, and volunteer placement. The agency can also help with advocacy programs, public hearings, and many other services.
