Chairman Seliskar called the regular meeting to order at 7:00 pm with the following members present: Trustees Adam, Kothera and Seliskar and Fiscal Officer Saunders. Zoning Inspector Erik Mirossay was unable to attend.
The proper papers were notified.
The minutes of the January 16, 2007 meeting were reviewed and the following action taken.

Fiscal Officer Saunders presented bills, vouchers, purchase orders and warrants for board approval.

ZONING REPORT:
Zoning Inspector Erik Mirossay was unable to attend.
The OhioEPA sent a copy of the letter sent to Mr. Stutzman concerning the wastewater privies requested for the newly proposed Amish school on Hunt Road.
The Geauga County Planning Commission sent a copy of a communication they received concerning legislative action and the concept of “General Welfare”.
A Best Local Land Use Workshop is planned for March 8 at the Holden Arboretum 8:00 – 12:30. Free Sessions
Geauga Soil & Water District sent information to distribute concerning Lease Language pertaining to Oil & Gas Well Drilling. The flyer contains information on what a landowner should consider before signing any leases with oil & gas drilling companies.
MAINTENANCE REPORT:
Roads:
Maintenance crews have been completing standard maintenance for this time of year. They have also repaired and painted picnic tables between snow falls. Roads have been plowed and graveled as needed. Building maintenance continues as well as vehicle maintenance.
OLD BUSINESS:
The OhioEPA E-Check information and reporting requirements for 2007 was received and reviewed..
The OPWC sent the final loan repayment schedule. Our balance is $18,274.79. The first payment due July 1, 2007.
NEW BUSINESS:
Correspondence was received from The Village of Middlefield and Basic Alarm Monitoring both concerns the alarm monitoring contract.
CORRESPONDENCE:
The Geauga County Sheriff’s Dept. sent reports for Dec 05 and Jan & Feb 06. They apologize for the delay but moving into a new facility and working with a new computer system has caused the delay. The report for January 07 was received.
OTA Grassroots Clippings February 2007 was received and a copy given to each trustee.
OTARMA sent a letter informing us that members of six years and longer will see a 20% credit in their premiums. Ours could be close to $2000.00.
OPERS Employer Outreach Newsletter, OPERS Legislative Update and OPERS Facts at a Glance all dated December 2006 were received. OPERS notice dated January 25 and the 2007 Employer Seminar Schedule were also received.

NOPEC’s packet to Cuyahoga Co Members and letter from SVA’s Bess Vrettos concerning NOPEC action with the Green Mountain Settlement was reviewed.
The Proclamation of Notice of Special Election was received. Today, Feb 6 is a special election for Cardinal Local Schools.
Bulletin 2007-001 from Auditor Mary Taylor was received. It addresses Force Account Limits.
Geauga County CIC has a luncheon scheduled for Friday, February 23 at Fowlers Mill Golf Course.
